I graduated with honors from the 3,000-hour massage therapy program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2013. In my practice I focus on person-centered care, active rehabilitation, and patient education. I enjoy working with all patients, of all ages, and I understand that everyone’s experience of pain is unique.
Treatments start with a conversation and assessment to help me understand the “why” behind your concerns. From there, we develop a treatment plan based on these findings, along with your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
My treatments are interactive and include ongoing feedback throughout the session, allowing me to adjust techniques based on what feels most effective for you. My approach incorporates a wide variety of manual therapy techniques to address pain and improve function, including general swedish massage, myofascial release, dermoneuromodulation, joint mobilizations, stretching, and kinesiotaping.
I believe that active rehab and patient education are key to lasting results, so you can expect to go home with simple, individualized exercises to support your progress between treatments.
Having grown up on a guest ranch in the Interior of B.C., I have always led an active outdoor lifestyle. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time on the local trails with my husband and dog. My favorite activities include hiking, mountain biking, running, horseback riding, paddle boarding, and skiing.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you.
